I’d like to say I really enjoyed the course. I’ve done 3 or 4 in person first aid courses over the years and struggled to stop myself from falling asleep in the classroom style boring courses. However, being in the comfort of my own home in a relaxed environment really helped me to stay engaged. Darren absolutely knows his stuff and its clear to see that he has a passion for what he's teaching. The added bit of banter along the way makes it a lot more enjoyable. I would 100% recommend this course to anyone thinking about joining on.

Working in this day and age, webinars can cause my attention to drift off. This wasn't the cause with 'Tom' I mean Darren. Showing his personality through his lecturing he kept engaging, informative and he held my attention. Mini games, interactive tasks and videos kept things entertaining but most importantly it was all informative. What was required to do for our assessment was very clear, plenty of links was also sent to accurately recreate the CPR and Recovery Position. Positive comments about my videos and funny remakes/ actions such as a comment about my cat which gladly assisted my unconscious volunteer. Overall course was great, but Darren was greater.

Thank you so much!! I used to do lifeguard training every week from the ages of 10-16 so I think DRSAB (or Dr. ABC as we used to call it) will be ingrained in my brain forever!

The only feedback I have on the course it that your energy made it so enjoyable. First aid over zoom isn't exactly the most exciting thing ever, but you kept us all engaged, and having to answer questions was really fun and also helped us to keep focussed.

I wasn't entirely sure what to expect from the course, especially as it was all online, which I thought might have made the information difficult to take in but I was pleasantly surprised. The course was very informative and engaging and despite the serious subject matter Darren made it very enjoyable and fun! I will definitely book again when my certificate needs to be renewed.

I love how to try to keep it as interactive and interesting as possible along with your jokes and useless points.

Your course provides plenty of information to be a competent first aider. In addition, I could see your passion and excitement when it comes to learning about someone else's health conditions or stories which was refreshing.

I also love how you added some anatomy lesson towards the end regarding flexion and extension at the end even though it was not part of the course. For someone who is serious about being a competent fitness professional and wants to keep learning it was great bit of useful information.

Other than that, I could not fault it when it comes to a first aid course.

Good points:

·       First aid course included pretty much everything even fractures, wound management, burn management, stroke etc

·       Sharing manual few nights before+ manual is very visual

·       Friendly and engaging tutor (Darren)

Suggestions:

·       the videos never loaded properly. You could leave a link on the presentation for everyone to click on. This should improve the quality of the videos

·       You could share presentation a night before. I like to familiarise myself with things as it increases my focus later on

·       You could do a little quiz (3-4 questions) after completing each topic
